Weeds - Grass
Grass growing in a lawn is obviously not a weed. However, grass growing where you don't is a weed.
There are two types of grass. Ordinary grass grows in a clump. It has a mass of small roots, and once you've removed it, it won't grow again. However, if it seeds, you'll get more grass.
Couch grass looks similar to ordinary grass, but is more straggly and has long roots. See couch grass page.
