Colour in knitting

Here are some effects that you can do using more than one colour of wool.

Single rows, three colours:

Three colours stocking stitch single row

Double rows, two colours:

Stocking stitch Garter stitch Welting (x2) Ribbing Moss stitch

Varying colour within a row:

Stocking stitch (multi-coloured) Double-sided smooth (double knitting) Double-sided knobbly Ribbing
