American biscuits and sausage gravy

Scones

It's well known that British biscuits are American cookies (or crackers, if they are for cheese). However, there are American biscuits as well. These are more like British scones. They are savoury, not sweet, and you eat them with gravy poured over. (I've not convinced that gravy means the same thing either.) I've adapted the recipe slightly.

Ingredients for Sausage gravy
pork sausage meat
flour
whole milk

Ingredients for Biscuits (American)
butter
self-raising flour
milk

time in oven for biscuits: 20 mins

preparation time:
fry sausage meat
add flour and cook the sauce
make the biscuit mix
