Line the trays with baking paper (this is optional, but makes it a lot easier to get the cake out afterwards). into the tins, levelling it off.
Put the trayss in the oven. This needs to cook for about 10 minutes. Since there are two trays, the bottom one may not cook as fast as the top one. When cooked, the cookies should be brown. If the top tray is done and the bottom tray is still pale, remove the top tray and carry on cooking for a bit.
Leave the cookie to cool (this hardens them a little) before removing from the paper (or tray).
Other ideas
The chocolate chips are optional. You can add chopped nuts instead (or as well as) or keep the cookies plain.
You can chop up slab chocolate instead of using chocolate chips. That is what I have done here. I've used white chocolate.
