To print a pattern (on Windows), position the mouse on it and click the right button, then click on Save Picture or Print Picture. The first picture shows the basic unit (large format). The second picture shows how you can repeat the pattern; this can obviously be extended as far as you wish. The original patterns were in black and white, so I have chosen the colour. Usually I make the dark colour blue, but here I've chosen red because of the hearts, and green for the other colours. The pale green squares may be a different type of stitch, as the 4 stitches are drawn as a diagonal cross. It seemed easier to make these a different colour instead. Also, sometimes they are outlined in a darker colour as a single line, which I have ignored, since I am making up simple counted stitch patterns rather than embroidery. Feel free to chose colours you want or colour it a different way. |
