Tapestry pattern dated from 1597 - Dryad border

To print a pattern (on Windows), position the mouse on it and click the right button, then click on Save Picture or Print Picture.

To start with, I thought that this border featured a mermaid, but her bottom half seems to be a tree, so I think she is a dryad (spirit of a tree). There is also a pierced heart and a vase.The first picture shows the basic unit (large format). You mirror this pattern to produce the final picture. The second and third pictures (in a smaller format) show two ways that you can do this. I've added a border to produce a neat result. The fourth picture shows how you can repeat the pattern; this can obviously be extended as far as you wish.
