Trailer - Local Elections May 2029

Elections may be held on Thursday 3th May 2029 in 24 English local authorities, but I wouldn't bet on it - due to probable Unitary reorganisations.
On 7th September 2026 all outstanding reorganisation plans (apart from Surrey) were paused. 14 councils have, for the moment, been restored to this list. As of 29th October 2026 it looks like 2028 will be the year for electing all new Shadow Authorities. Upper-tier counties have therefore been removed from the list no longer displayed.
