Trees and bushes don't die back every winter, although they probably drop their leaves. The difference between a tree and a bush is not necessary obvious. A tree has a trunk, and a bush doesn't. But you can prune a bush into a tree by removing side shoots. "Real" trees tend to naturally produce a single trunk, and last longer.
I have several fruit trees and bushes, which are also described under fruit. I also have ornamental trees. But the fruit trees are very attractive, so could be considered as ornamental. There are flowers, such as roses, which are bushes, so these appear under two categories as well.
