Schiffli machine lace - mat

This is not hand made needle lace because of the fuzziness (see the large scale picture). It is chemical lace (Schiffli machine lace).

This mat is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show a quarter of it, but the pattern repeats. The whole mat is photographed below to show its shape.
