Mixed tape lace - mat
This looks as if the tape in this mat was made in the shape it appears below. However, if you look carefully, there is a thread on each edge which has been tightened to make the tape bend. The tapes also cross each other. So this is mixed tape lace, because the tape was originally straight, then coaxed to make these shapes. The fillings and joins were added afterwards.
