Machine-made lace shape

This shape was cut out of a large piece of machine-made lace, and thin strips of lace were sewn onto the points. I'm not sure what it is intended to be.

This piece is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show part of it on the right. The entire piece is photographed below to show its shape.
