Bedfordshire mat
This mat has been worked in two pieces, one round the edge and one in the middle. The pieces are joined with a crochet hook. The edge part is also worked similar to tape lace, joined to itself as it is worked.
This uses scallop headsides, flowers with double tally petals and cloth stitch trails.
