Irish crochet collar

This was bought on eBay with a seller's description: "Antique Cream Hand Made Irish Lace Collar".

In fact, it is Irish crochet.

This piece is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show part of it on the right, but it is symmetrical. The entire piece is photographed below to show its shape.
