Bobbin tape lace - mat

This is bobbin tape lace, as the tape was made in the shape it appears below, going round corners smoothly rather than being folded or gathered. It is made of cloth stitch and half stitch, and the joins and patterns include legs and twisted pairs. It is alleged to be Spanish.

This piece is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show part of it on the right. The entire piece is photographed below to show its shape.
