Honiton lace - collar
I am not sure whether this is Honiton or not, but I think it is hand-made. The different coloured bit in the point is not - it is embroidered and may even be machine-made. The whole collar is made 0f 6 pieces of lace - the arms (2) the edge of the point (2), the point of the point (!), the middle of the point.
This collar is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show parts of it on the right, and in large scale. The entire collar is photographed below to show its shape. On the right, there isone of the arms, and the point.
