Stitches:
   half stitch
   cloth stitch
   cloth stitch and twist
   twist single pair

Details:
   scallop headside (gold)
   cloth stitch heart (red)
   Torchon ground (grey)
   twisted footside (grey)

Remember to twist pairs as they leave the hearts.

This version uses two red pairs as workers for the hearts. Each red pair is workers for one heart, leaving the other pair as a passive pair. Then they swap over for the next heart. This means that the red passive pair shows up as a red line through the heart. If you don't like this, you can have just one red pair, making the other pair as back ground (so the count would be 4 gold pairs, 1 red pair, 9 background). Then you must use the red pair as workers for every heart.
