Style: Torchon

half stitch

Details:
Torchon ground (grey and other colours)
rose ground edge (red)
rose ground (red)
Description:
Click on the links above to see how to do the different stitches and techniques. I changed the colour for some pairs (where it's marked with X). That means adding the new pair on a pin, then making sure the old pair is caught by the new pair, and tying the old pair off. You may need an extra pair to do this, as it helps to have both old and new pairs on bobbins.
The start and end look like the sides, but in fact it's a row of row ground, with two pairs starting at the centre and going outwards to create the edge line. That happens at the finish as well, but I didn't manage to knot them round each other and created a gap. Oops!
One mistake in the middle roses...
