Pattern 52 - Spider and dot ground

A simple sample to practise spider and dot ground. See also pattern 50 and pattern 51. I suggest that you are confident with working spiders before attempting any of these.

   half stitch
   cloth stitch
   cloth stitch and twist

Details:
   8 legged spider (green)
   spider and dot ground (green and grey)
   Torchon ground (grey)
   twisted footside (grey)

The legs of the spiders are separated in this ground as well, but in a more cunning way. One leg (on one side) goes to a different spider while the other goes to a Torchon ground stitch. There is not a line of Torchon ground stitches like pattern 51, just individual stitches here and there.
