This is an attempt to reproduce an effect I saw somewhere. There are two rows of cloth stitch. Twist all pairs. Then couples of pairs are worked in cloth stitch and twist. These must not use the same couple as previous. Instead, the pairs move diagonally across the shape. Any pair not worked in a couple, at start or end of row, are just twisted.
