Bedfordshire mat
This mat was made in three pieces, joined with a crochet hook.
There is a scallop headsides with cloth stitch underneath. Plaits join this to butterflies, made of half stitch with raised tallies (this only shows on one side). There is a central flower with five double tally petals.
