Bedfordshire lace mat

There is a scallop headsides with cloth stitch underneath. Plaits and tally fill in the areas that make the oval shape. There is a central flower with five double tally petals. The different parts of the mat were joined with a crochet hook.

This mat looks similar to this one.

The larger mat is too big to fit in my scanner (which is how I am reproducing the lace) so I can only show part of it on the right. The entire piece is photographed below to show its shape.
