Bedfordshire lace mat
This mat was worked in two pieces. The scallops with cloth stitch triangles, and a winkie pin twisted footside on the outside. Then, the edge part - more scallops and cloth triangles. These were joined with a crochet hook.
This mat looks similar to this one.
