Bedfordshire Edging
This is a simple insertion with half stitch buds, alternately cloth stitch and half stitch. Or rather, not quite alternately, suggesting that this is hand made, and the lacemaker made a mistake! The buds are joined together with plaits with picots. There is a winkie pin footside.
