Bedfordshire mat edge
This is a mat edging without a centre. The centre could have been intended to be filled with either more lace or material.
There is a nine pin headside. There are half stitch areas with raised tallies (this only shows on one side). In between these are flowers with tally petals. Plaits join things. There is a twisted footside.
