Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. You could work the diamonds in cloth stitch if you prefer.
The start and finish works one of the edge pairs, and one of the footside passive pairs, across the other pairs in cloth stitch and twist to frame the lace, and strengthen the start and finish.
