Description:

Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace.

The strips are supposed to be leaves. They are coloured greem by the worker pair of the cloth stitch. To get the worker pair from one leaf to the next, it is taken to the footside, then the "join 2 pair + 1 pair" takes it round the pin and back to the next leaf. However, this is a plait, made of two pairs, one green and one white. It is necessary to keep the green pair on the same side at the end of one leaf and the start of the next. But of course, a plait, made of half stitch, changes the pairs. So I did 4 half stitch between each pin. That makes the green pair come together at each pin, in the right place.
