Pattern:
   Pattern of lace

Bobbins: 19 white pairs, 1 blue pair, one yellow pair, one green pair

Style: English Midland

Stitches:
   plait
   lazy join
   picot
   cloth stitch
   cloth stitch and twist

Details:
   nine pin headside (green)
   cloth trail (red)
   cloth stitch bud (blue)
   twisted footside (grey)

Description:

Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. The different colours show the different colours of workers in the cloth stitch, rather than different stitches. Only the worker pair are coloured to colour a shape. There maybe another pair associated with it in the plaits, so make sure you do enough half stitches in the plait to get the coloured pair together, and in the right place!

The blue trail keeps a fairly constant width, as pairs leave it and rejoin it on either side in a controlled way.

Here is a larger photo so you can see the detail.
