I was asked for some designs for apple blossom - individual small flowers. Here is one attempt. See also pattern 61, pattern 62 and pattern 64.

A better attempt of pattern 61 for a better attempt. The edge pins for the fans are closer together in this pattern. Not only does this make it look more like an apple blossom, but the finishing is easier to hide.
