This is an attempt to recreate a 3-D cube pattern in lace (see above). Pattern 168 and pattern 169 are similar to this, as simple strips.

Pattern:

Bobbins: 20 pairs
Style: Bucks Point
Stitches:
cloth stitch
cloth stitch and twist
half stitch
plait (pink)
twist single pair
Details:
cloth stitch triangle (red)
vertical edge (red)
half stitch diamond (blue)
Kat stitch (green)
half stitch ground or lattice ground (cyan)
cloth footside (grey)
hexagonal mat
how to finish
Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace. The footside by the half stitch ground means that there is an extra pair of bobbins which are taken into the cloth stitch triangle.

The start is along a diagonal, so one pair starts at each pin, and two at the edge. Above, I have marked the position of the false pins.
