Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace.
The different coloured flowers (or scallops) are cdaused by the worker pair. For the first scallop, the red pair is kept to the edge, as a passive pair, and the white pair is used as workers for the whole scallop. For the second flower, at the start, there is a half stitch before the pin and a cloth stitch and twist after. This splits up the red and white pair, so one mixed pair stays at the edge, and the other is used as the worker pair throughout the scallop. The same trick between the second and thid scallops means that the pairs rejoin, with the white pair at the edge, and the red pair as workers. And so on.
