
This pattern tries to reproduce (unsuccessfully) two grounds and (more successfully) a stripey effect in the triangles.

Bobbins: 16 pairs (2 purple, 14 blue)
Style: Torchon (experimental)
Size: 6 inches long
Stitches:
half stitch
cloth stitch and twist
cloth stitch (red)
twist single pair
Details:
double Torchon ground (grey)
half stitch cathedral spider ground (green)
half stitch spider ground (blue)
stripey effect triangle (red and light blue cross-overs)
Description:
Follow the links above for explanation of how to work the different parts of the lace.
For the half stitch spiders, use a pin in the centre.
For the half stitch cathdral spiders (which are half a spicer), use pins round the outside to keep it in roughly the right place!
