Click here to find out about equipment for lace making, and how to set up your pillow, wind bobbins, and make lace.
These patterns are for people who want to learn how to make Torchon bobbin lace. There are different styles and traditions of bobbin lace. Torchon lace is geometric and logical, which makes it a good lace for beginners.
The patterns have numbers on them. These are in the order that I designed the patterns, and have no other significance!
These are not proper pieces of lace. The plait will start you using bobbins. The samples give you practice in some stitches.
